Packed with information, testimonials and a score tracker, the microsite is a container for the fitness assessment app. Click to "Get Started" and the app is revealed, within the same page. As users complete the forms, their data is displayed with illustrated design treatments to create a more engaging experience.

While creating a concept for the 2012 annual report, I considered its valued role in the community, and the theme “Bringing the World to You Every Day” emerged. The visual language of maps and navigational motif brought this message to life through a modern design treatment.
The 12-page, 7.5” x 11.5” report was printed on uncoated Cougar cream #90 cover, with two ink colors (teal and warm red), carefully blended to produce a neutral brown "third color." A six-panel, accordion-folded tip-in was added to accommodate all of the the contributor‘s names.
IRS Tax Training Website
IRS Tax Training is a private company offering training, testing, and certification for tax preparation professionals.
Designing a new website that could directly sell the product while conveying credibility and a friendly customer service approach was central in the strategy to set them apart from competition.
Our team presented two directions for our client: one was product-focused; the second, centered on an accessible, friendly approach.
Northwest Trek Adventure Park
Already well known for their wildlife attractions, Northwest Trek's summer ad campaign worked to change audience perceptions and reposition the park as the ultimate adventure destination for the whole family.
The design concept was driven by the headline, with a bold typographic treatment, supported by action photography. Deliverables included outdoor and transit ads, flash banners, print media ads, and posters.
Software Assurance Videos
Our client had some fairly dense messaging about licensing benefits – and wanted it brought to life with easy-to-digest, engaging videos.
My dual role in this project was designer and producer: developing the initial creative directions, creating storyboards, illustrating assets, sourcing voice talent, editing music beds and coordinating an efficient handoff for video production.
Our client group was delighted with the results and our team was rewarded with a platinum AVA award in the web video category.

I created the identity and supporting graphics for this independent film which is still in production. The gritty nature of DIY rock inspired the grit in the designs: Stenciled spraypaint on road cases, flyers stapled to telephone poles, all that good stuff.
Pieces shown include the logotype, a couple style frames showing animated typography from the trailer, interview supers, and the promo poster.
MarketingPilot, an integrated marketing management software tool, was acquired by Microsoft under the Dynamics product group.
The assignment was to integrate MarketingPilot into the Microsoft product portfolio, by aligning it with the parent brand and visual ID and design a website in which the product is presented more consistently with the overall Dynamics offering.
Communities in Schools Washington (CISWA) connects resources to schools, with a major focus to help prevent students from dropping out. The “Be a Hero” campaign worked to encourage young men of color to become mentors to local students.
Working closely with our client, I developed a visual approach that would stand out from other education-focused campaigns. We wanted mentorship to look cool.
Knowing our time with spokesman Shaun Alexander would be brief, I worked in advance with our photographer to ensure alignment on art direction and staging. When Shaun arrived, we had our shot within 10 minutes – giving him extra time to hang out with the kids and sign autographs.
